Cookie Notice

Farewatch sets one cookie, and only after you sign in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and any visitor analytics we use (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless — it stores nothing on your device. That is why you have not been shown a consent banner.

01

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. We do not set any, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or any third-party tracker on this site.

02

The cookie we set

NamePurposeExpiresType
farewatch_sessionKeeps you signed in after you click an emailed sign-in link. Without it you would have to sign in again on every page.12 hoursStrictly necessary

It is set only once you sign in, is marked httpOnly so page scripts cannot read it, and is sent only over HTTPS. It holds a random token, not your email address or any booking detail.

03

Third parties

When you go to checkout we send you to Stripe, which sets its own cookies on its own domain to process the payment and prevent fraud. That happens on Stripe's pages under Stripe's policy, not ours. We do not embed Stripe scripts on this site.

04

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will stop you from staying signed in, but the public pages will work normally.

More information

What we do with personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. Any question about this notice: [email protected].
