For ARC/IATA travel agencies

Every booking watched.
Every drop caught.

Farewatch monitors your entire portfolio of PNRs daily. When a fare drops on a flexible ticket, we verify eligibility automatically and surface the opportunity for your agent to approve and reissue in your GDS — no spreadsheets, no manual repricing runs.

The Farewatch opportunity queue: recovered totals, pending fare drops ranked by net saving with confidence scores, and approve or dismiss controls on each row.

The agent queue, shown with illustrative data. Most tickets never qualify — these are the scale of drop that does.

How it works for agencies

01

Import your bookings

Add PNRs manually, upload a CSV, or just forward the confirmation email — Farewatch reads the itinerary, fare paid, cabin class and ticket date either way. No GDS API integration required to start.

02

We monitor every fare, every day

Each active booking is repriced daily against the same itinerary. Farewatch checks eligibility rules — ticket flexibility, change fees, flown segments — before surfacing anything.

03

Your agents approve and reissue

When a qualifying drop is found, you see the net saving, the current fare, and a checklist. One click to approve. Your agent reissues in their GDS. Full audit log for every action.

Specification

What you are actually buying.

Every line below is a property of the running system, not a roadmap item.

Eligible agencies
ARC or IATA accredited
You hold the PNR and the right to reissue it. Farewatch never touches the ticket itself.
Booking intake
Manual entry · CSV up to 200 PNRs · forwarded confirmation email
No GDS API integration or certification required to start.
Monitoring cadence
Up to 2× daily per booking
Domestic tickets twice daily, international once, stepping down as a fare goes quiet and back up on movement.
Coverage
Whole portfolio, not a sample
Watches on the same flight share one price check, so adding bookings on routes you already cover costs nothing extra. Each plan carries a monthly check allowance.
Eligibility screening
Automatic, before the queue
Like-for-like itinerary match, change-fee offset, flown-segment and stop-window exclusion, inventory in the booked cabin.
Agent workflow
Approve here, reissue in your GDS
Farewatch prepares the case and records the approval. The reissue stays in your system, under your ticketing authority.
Roles
Admin · Agent · Viewer
Admins configure and hold billing, agents approve and dismiss, viewers read and report.
Audit trail
Append-only, timestamped
Every price check, approval, dismissal and claim. Update and delete are revoked at the database grant, not just in code.
Tenant isolation
Row-level security in Postgres
Each agency’s rows are unreachable from another tenant’s session, enforced by the database rather than by a query filter.
Passenger data
AES-256-GCM at rest
Names and ticket numbers are encrypted by the application, so the keys never sit in the database.
Airline credentials
Never held — no field exists
There is nowhere in the schema to store one. A build-time guard fails the deploy if a credential-shaped column is ever added.
Recovered value
Airline travel credit, not cash
Issued by the carrier under its own rebooking rules, and dependent on the fare rules of the specific ticket.

The record

Every check is evidence.

Qualifying or not, each reprice is written to the booking with its quoted fare, seat count, outcome and the reason behind it. When a passenger asks why nothing was done, or a carrier queries a reissue, the answer is already on file.

Price check history for a single booking: timestamp, quoted fare, seats, qualified or rejected result, reason, and check latency for each of the last six checks.

Before you trial it

Where this does not help.

Most tickets recover nothing

Fares move up as often as down, and many fare bases exclude reissue outright. Farewatch is worth having because it watches everything cheaply, not because every booking pays.

The value is a carrier credit

The passenger receives future travel credit under the airline’s own rules, typically valid a year from original purchase. It is not a cash refund, and Farewatch does not advance the money.

Your agent does the reissue

We prepare and evidence the case; the ticketing action stays in your GDS under your authority. Farewatch does not hold ticketing authority and never contacts the carrier as you.

We are not a consolidator or an agent of any airline

Farewatch is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as agent for any carrier.
